Is It On Arm?

Most PC games run under emulation

Very few PC games ship native ARM64 builds. Most run through Prism. GPU drivers matter a lot, so install updates through the Snapdragon Control Panel.

Steam has no native Windows ARM64 client. Valve's native ARM64 client is for Linux and the Steam Frame, so on Windows, Steam itself also runs emulated.

Anti-cheat

  • Easy Anti-Cheat has supported Windows on ARM since August 2025. Games have to adopt the new SDK before it works.
  • Fortnite has been playable on Snapdragon PCs since November 2025. It still runs under emulation.
  • Riot Vanguard doesn't support Windows on ARM, so Valorant and League of Legends won't launch.

Cloud gaming

If a game won't run locally, cloud streaming avoids the problem. NVIDIA offers a Windows ARM beta of the GeForce NOW app, and Xbox Cloud Gaming runs in the Xbox app.

Emulators are often native

Many console emulators ship native ARM64 builds, including Dolphin, PPSSPP, DuckStation and RetroArch. The full list is in the Emulators category.
